What to Plant in February
Itīs February and depending on your region, the first snowdrops, crocus, and daffodils may be showing themselves as they begin to flower. To get a jump start on the growing season, consider sowing the seeds listed to the right directly outside if you can work your soil or starting some tender annuals inside. Many summer flowering plants can be divided and transplanted now if the soil in your area is workable.
We have compiled this list of plants to be sown, transplated or otherwise added to your garden in February. Taken alongside the February gardening calendar and podcast we hope this helps to provide much of the information you need to be successful this month. As always we continue to create new Plant Pages and eventually will offer information on every plant we have in our monthly planting guides.
